If you missed that post, I offered up some free templates for making minimal pair flash cards and other pronunciation activities, plus some downloadable charts for your classroom. These are print-ready pdf files that you can start using today.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimal Pair Flash Card Sets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"190\" width=\"702\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kinneybrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Pronunciation_Flash1.jpg?resize=702%2C190&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"minimal pair card sets Kinney Brothers Publishing\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of these <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.teacherspayteachers.com\/Store\/Donalds-English-Classroom\/Search:Minimal+Pair\" target=\"_blank\">Minimal Pair Flash Card<\/a> sets<strong> <\/strong>comes with charts, assessment logs, master cards, pair cards, and individual word cards. With each of these sets you will have a flexible resource for assessments and to utilize in pronunciation activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exit Tickets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"190\" width=\"702\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kinneybrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Pronunciation_Flash2.jpg?resize=702%2C190&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Aligned to the Minimal Pair Flash Cards above, these sets of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.teacherspayteachers.com\/Store\/Donalds-English-Classroom\/Search:exit+ticket\" target=\"_blank\">Exit Tickets<\/a> specifically target speakers of 10 different languages. Exit tickets are a fast and easy way of assessing lessons taught or determining lessons that need to be taught.  Use these as a cool-down exercise at the end of class, collect the completed tickets as students leave, and you&#8217;ll have a clearer idea where students need the most attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pronunciation Pyramids<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"190\" width=\"702\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kinneybrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Pronunciation_Flash3.jpg?resize=702%2C190&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teacherspayteachers.com\/Product\/Minimal-Pair-Pronunciation-Pyramids-5452289\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pronunciation Pyramids<\/a> are fun for the whole class or in small groups.  With a base of 48 minimal pair sets, there are 96 pyramids total.  Have these ready for a quick assessment or as a warmup activity to get students focused on pronunciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pronunciation Mazes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"190\" width=\"702\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kinneybrothers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Pronunciation_Flash4.jpg?resize=702%2C190&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teacherspayteachers.com\/Product\/Pronunciation-Mazes-5464210\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pronunciation Mazes<\/a> are a fun challenge for students to complete in or outside of class.  These 27 puzzles address three areas of pronunciation for ESL learners: past tense, third-person singular verbs, and noun plurals. Each set includes a word bank of 60 common nouns and verbs, nine puzzles for each target (color &amp; black and white), plus answer keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Past tense verbs: \/d\/, \/t\/, and \/id\/ <em>e.g<\/em>., <em>called<\/em>, <em>jumped <\/em>and <em>lifted<\/em><\/li><li>Third person singular verbs: \/s\/, \/z\/, and \/iz\/, <em>e.g<\/em>., <em>helps<\/em>, <em>draws<\/em>, and <em>teaches<\/em><\/li><li>Noun Plurals: \/s\/, \/z\/, and \/iz\/, <em>e.g<\/em>., <em>books<\/em>, <em>cows<\/em>, and <em>wishes<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These pronunciation activities can be employed in class with minimal time requirements and without redesigning your whole curriculum.
